| About
Stan Conference |
| Every
year, STAN organizes a conference for all members and
other science, technology, and mathematics teachers.
The annual conference serves as a forum for all to disseminate
information. Each conference has a theme for which members
come to present papers and hold group discussions. It
is during the annual conference that science quiz and
projects competitions, exhibition of science materials,
textbooks, etc. take place. In recent years, STAN science
quiz competition has been broadcast on the network service
of Radio Nigeria for 13 weeks. Election of officers
is also held during the conference period. Papers presented
during the conference are published as conference proceedings.
The annual conference of STAN, indeed, presents the
peak of its activities. |
