Solar
Matters/Solar Wonders: A new educational unit,
"Solar Matters," for upper
elementary/intermediate/middle school grades is now available
online. It has been developed by the Florida Solar Energy Center
(FSEC), a research institute of the University of Central
Florida, to provide teachers with information needed to extend
their students' understanding of science by experiencing solar
energy firsthand. It includes more than 25 hands-on activities
that can be used in science, mathematics, social studies, and
other curriculum areas.
