Science and Technology Fair: The Internet Science and
Technology Fair is an opportunity for teachers to provide their
classes with a hands-on, computer-oriented learning activity.
The Fair is designed to reinforce students’ interest in the
fields of science and technology. Students on three
levels--elementary school (grades 3–5), middle school (grades
6–9) and high school (grades 10–12)--apply National Critical
Technologies to real world problems. They accomplish this by
gathering and analyzing information from the Internet and by
communicating with scientists and engineers via e-mail as their
project progresses. Their final product is an ISTF Project
Homepage which is hosted at their school’s website. University
